   Bugaboo has heard customer feedback and has finally come out with an ultra-lightweight infant car seat! The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna weighs just over 7 pounds* but still has all the features you want your infant car seat to have, so you don’t have to sacrifice anything. Unlike most ultralight car seats, the Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna has integrated European Belt pathways for baseless installation in your car which means you can install it without the base! This makes it an excellent option for frequent fliers, globetrotters, and city dwellers who may not want to lug around the heavy base with them whenever they travel without their car. 

Industry-Leading Protective Features

   The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna is designed to ensure a secure ride home from the hospital on day one and continue to keep your little one safe in the car until they outgrow the seat. The car seat base is easy to install and has an innovative four position recline so you can be sure your baby is always at the proper angle when riding in the car. Simply line up the rigid LATCH connectors with the ISOFIX latches in your vehicle seat and push to attach the base to your car for a three-second safe installation. If your LATCHes are inaccessible or you are traveling in a car without ISOFIX latches, the base also has a seat belt lockoff to aid in installation without using LATCHes.    The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna base has an integrated steel stability load leg and anti-rebound panel that help reduce crash forces and transfer them away from the car seat and back into the floor of the vehicle. The load leg and anti-rebound panel ensures that your little one stays firmly in place in a collision, which keeps them secure and protected. Flexible and impact absorbing Aeroflex EPP foam provides the ultimate side impact protection for your baby without degrading over time and becoming brittle.

   Designed to provide a seamless transition from car to stroller and vice versa, the Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna allows your baby to remain sound asleep during your travels. The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna infant car seat is only compatible with Bugaboo strollers Donkey, Fox, Lynx, Bee, Ant, and Cameleon 3/3+ with adapters sold separately. This allows you to mix and match the perfect travel system for your family.

   To make parents’ lives even easier, all the fabrics on the car seat are removable and machine washable for hassle-free cleaning. As your little one grows, you won’t have to worry about rethreading the car seat’s harness. The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna features an automatically rethreading harness that adjusts for you as you extend the headrest.

   The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna is made to be comfortable for both you and your baby. The soft fabrics lining the car seat are gentle on your baby’s sensitive skin and the foam inside the seat provides cushioning. The fabrics are Oeko-Tex certified and the natural merino wool baby insert provides optimal climate control to keep your little passenger comfortable in all weather conditions. The Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna’s Snooze Shade extends from the UPF 50+ protective canopy to provide full sun coverage and plenty of air mesh for ventilation. The Snooze Shade fastens quietly with magnets so your baby can nap in peace. For extra ventilation in the summertime and to easily check on your baby while on-the-go, the Bugaboo Turtle Air by Nuna canopy features a large mesh peekaboo window with silent magnetic closures. For parents, the car seat has an ergonomic lightweight carry handle with a comfortable leather-look grip.
