Third Day’s a Charm

Third Day’s a Charm

Today was my most productive day yet. I covered a lot of ground and saw a lot of interesting things, including a couple of guys who can stack cups so fast, you can’t see their hands move. The stacks just appear and disappear, with an occasional cup flying into the aisle. Is it fun? It’s certainly a spectacle. I got some video footage, which I’ll post when I get home.
Play FoamMy find of the day today was the new Play Foam from Educational Insight. This moldable putty looks and feels like Floam, a Nickelodeon-channel specialty substance that resembles styrofoam particles trapped in sticky slime. The key difference here is that Floam will dry once it is exposed to air for any extended period of time, and Play Foam stays moist and pliable indefinitely. The sample I brought home was a hit with everyone who saw it, including a 2 year old, a 4 year old, a 13 year old and my mom.
