Our inside scoop on the ABC Expo: Clek goes Tokidoki!

Combining sugary-sweet cuteness and a bit of humorous edge, Tokidoki is a larger-than-life design brand with a huge following. Their “criminally cute” designs have appeared on everything from apparel to shoes – so why not car seats and booster seats?

The collaboration between Tokidoki and Clek is “a natural way to expand upon our design DNA,” according to Chris Lumley, the president of Clek – it follows their popular Paul Frank collection, which applied a similarly tongue-in-cheek aesthetic. (Paul Frank Clek designs are being phased out, but there will still be stock for a while.) These new designs are bursting with color and character – watch our site to see when they’ll be available! Pricing looks like it will be as follows:

• Clek Foonf Convertible Car Seat in Tokidoki: $549.99
• Clek Oobr Booster Seat in Tokidoki: $349.99
• Clek Olli Booster Seat in Tokidoki: $129.99

Clek is also introducing new color schemes – all solid-colored versions of the Clek Foonf, Oobr, and Olli will be available with a black or a white base. Choices will include:

• Flamingo: Black base/pink fabric
• Tank: Black base/green fabric
• Ink: Black base/blue fabric
• Shadow: Black base/black fabric
• Snowberry: White base/pink fabric
• Dragonfly: White base/green fabric
• Blue Moon: White base/blue fabric

All solid-colored Foonf Convertible Car Seats will be $449.99.

For those who prefer a more upscale aesthetic, the Clek Foonf, Oobr, and Olli will all be available in leather, in two colors: Cooper Black and Paige Tan. The leather Foonf Car Seat will be $799.99, the Oobr Booster will be $549.99, and the Olli Booster Seat will be $149.99.

Finally, the Clek Foonf Convertible Car Seat has a few small design tweaks: a longer crotch strap, black bars in the rear, and an easier install for the rebound bar. No components of the seat contain BPA or harmful flame retardants, even the harness!
