Days in Toyland

I just came back from the ASTRA (American Specialty Toy Retailers Association) conference, which took place at the new MGM Foxwoods resort in Connecticut. It was a really nice experience. I’d never gone to this show before, but since it was so close to home this year, we made the trip. I really enjoyed it. We found some great new products for the summer and holiday season. This show is different from a typical trade show, because there are interesting seminars and lots of opportunities for interacting in-depth with products. I got to play with crafts kits, board games, and I even won some money at the Blackjack tables. All in all, a good week.
