31 and out.

Once upon a time, there was a girl… fine, a woman, who dreamed of owning a toy store (with some baby gear, too). She joined forces with her husband, her brother-in-law and many other talented people. She thought it would be easy, and it wasn’t. She thought it would be fun, and it was.

It still is.

We’re astonished and honored by your incredible show of support during these last 31 days. Thousands of you came each day and entered, left lovely comments, and some of you won great stuff. To all of my friends who were hoping I might stack the odds in their favor, I apologize. We kept this on the up and up, and it was incredibly exciting each night to see who would emerge as the winner (Eli always asked me to make sure he was in the room, and he liked when I would say, “annnnnd the winner is….” with a little desk drumroll for effect – yes, sleep deprivation can make you silly). Know that I was rooting for you, even if random.org wasn’t.

While I won’t miss the 2am bedtimes, giving things away is addictive, and you haven’t seen the last of it. That’s not a threat. It’s a promise.
