It’s overall design is classic and fresh. The head-board sits above the rest of the crib by nearly a foot capped by a flared railing that matches the front of the crib’s. The headboard has two slim cut outs mimicking the distance between the railing spindle and make this solid wood crib feel much lighter. A single line of molding runs around the head-board’s face for a perfect finished touch. This crib has three adjustable mattress heights. All height settings are sleep safe for a newborn though the shallower setting is best used only up until your baby is rolling over and beginning to sit upright. The front-facing side of the crib is easily removable to convert into a daybed, or even a toddler bed with the Pali Como Toddler Rail. As a last stage this Pali Como Flat Top Forever Crib converts into a teenager-approved, full-size bed by removing the two short sides, adding on the Pali Como Full-Sized Bed Rails, and reattaching the front face of the crib, now acting now as a footboard. Consider buying these Bed Rails at the same time as the crib and dresser combo for an exact finish color.
A standard sized mattress is an excellent fit for all Pali cribs. All the spindle on the front and sides of the Pali Como Flat Top Forever Crib are relatively flat with rounded edges.
