Crazy Aaron's Hypercolor Putty

$12.99
Status:

In the early '90s, Hypercolor was a blink-or-you'll-miss-it trend: Hypercolor teeshirts were dyed with a "thermochromic" pigment that developed nifty-looking splotches when the temperature changed. It was a cute gimmick that came and went fast, in part because it was so easy to damage a Hypercolor shirt - if you forgot and washed it with a load of clothes in hot water, you were sunk.

Crazy Aaron's Hypercolor Thinking Putty adds a whole lot of play value to the Hypercolor concept, and is unlikely to get destroyed in the wash. It's the same concept as the Hypercolor shirt: touch the Hypercolor Thinking Putty with your hand, or with a warm coffee mug, and watch it change color. Leave it to cool off or stick it in the fridge, and it goes back to its base color. Now, repeat!

Of course, the color-change isn't the only thing that's fun about Crazy Aaron's Hypercolor Thinking Putty: this stuff is wonderful to moosh, squish, and stretch. Kids and grownups will enjoy using Thinking Putty as a fidget-toy, or molding weird gooey sculptures. Thinking Putty doesn't have a chemical smell, and it doesn't make a mess on surfaces; it's free of gluten and latex, and it's non-toxic. And there's enough in the tin to share with a friend! Recommended for ages 3 and up.
