Although car seat bases do make day to day use quicker and easier if you have your own car, most infant car seats can be installed without them and if you don’t own a car, you don’t have much use for a base. The Clek Liingo Doesn’t Compromise on Safety

Even when installed without a base, the Clek Liingo delivers industry-leading crash test performance. Its European Belt Path provides extra stabilization and a more secure install than American Belt Path installation. This reduces the force on your baby’s head, neck, and spine during an impact. The Clek Liingo is also made without chlorinated or brominated flame retardant chemicals so you can rest easy knowing your little one isn’t being exposed to harmful toxins.

Designed to be More Comfortable

We know babies can be fussy in the car, and often it can be due to them being uncomfortable. After all, they just came from a weightless environment where they were always comfortable and warm. The included Clek Liingo 2-stage infant insert has an ultra supportive head cushion to prevent your baby’s head from flopping from side to side and reduce stress on your little one’s neck. As your baby grows, simply remove the inserts to give more room in the seat. The fabric of the Liingo is an ultra-soft jersey knit material that is gentle on your new baby’s sensitive skin. The Clek Liingo also has a 3 position canopy that provides SPF 100+ and a large mesh peek-a-boo window to keep your baby cool and safe from sunburns.

Travel System Friendly

Chances are, if you don’t have a car you’re using your stroller to get your baby from Point A to Point B. Luckily, the Clek Liingo is compatible with a wide range of strollers using each brand’s Maxi-Cosi® adapters so you don’t have to compromise on your stroller just to find one that works with the Liingo. The Clek Liingo also works better on Maxi-Cosi® adapters than any other car seat because it can be released from the adapters with a single button instead of two. This makes it much easier and less awkward to lift the car seat off the stroller.

How Do I Install the Clek Liingo?

The Clek Liingo can be installed using three different methods, but will always be rear facing in the vehicle. LATCH connectors are included inside the detachable LATCH bin and can be used to quickly and easily click the car seat onto the LATCHes in a car for a secure installation. Left the LATCH bin at home? That’s okay! Just run the vehicle seat belt through the European Belt Path to install. You can use this method if the car you’re in doesn’t have LATCH as well. The third option for installation is to purchase the Clek Liing Base and install the base in the car. This will provide you the most effortless day to day installation and is a good idea if you have secondary caregivers who have a car and will be taking care of your little one regularly. A Clek Liing Base can always be purchased at a later date if you buy a car in the future or decide you want to invest in the additional safety features it provides.

How Long Will My Clek Liingo Last?

The Clek Liingo can be used up until your baby is 35 pounds or 32 inches tall, whichever comes first. Kids almost always reach 32 inches tall first, so it’s important to be on the lookout for when there is only an inch or two of room above your baby’s head because that is when you should start to research their next car seat, a convertible car seat! On average you can expect your baby to be using the Clek Liingo for one year, but that does vary depending on where your child falls on the growth chart. Planning on having siblings?
