Mockingbird Stroller Full Review | Should You Buy One?

Your life doesn’t stop when you have kids. If you’re like any modern parent, you want to enjoy life to the fullest, especially when your kids are young. If you can’t afford a babysitter and you don’t have close ones ready to watch your kids, you may be forced to take your kids wherever you go. The good news is that the Mockingbird Stroller 2.0 has many features that will make doing that fun and enjoyable. That’s especially true if money is tight for you. You’re going to learn why in this article.

Overview of Mockingbird Stroller 2.0?

Mocking Bird 2.0 Stroller review and overview

If you’re on a budget, the Mockingbird Stroller 2.0 may just be what you need if you have two or more kids under age 3. You can easily convert this stroller to a double stroller to accommodate more than one baby, toddler, or preschooler. It has many other useful features for parents.

Mockingbird Stroller 2.0 Features

Let's take a look at some of the most important features of the stroller.

Easily Extended Canopy

One thing that parents value about the stroller is its extendable canopy. That makes it great to take your little ones out on a long walk on a warm and sunny day without needing to put sunscreen on their faces and bodies! The canopy also comes in handy if you want to take your kids out on a drizzly day and you don’t want them to get wet.

You Can Fold and Unfold the Stroller With One Arm

Kids are busy, so you often end up doing tasks with one arm while you’re holding your kid in the other arm. That is hard to do well. Mockingbird’s manufacturers have made that task a bit easier by incorporating a spring-loaded unlock. Just lock and unlock the stroller with the click of a button. It’s that easy.

Adjustable Straps

If you have little kids, you know just how hard it can be to strap them in for a walk, especially if they would rather play at home on your iPad. Mockingbird 2.0’s manufacturers had that and similar issues in mind when they designed adjustable straps for the stroller. Their straps are easy to use and adjust as your kids grow in size.

It’s Compatible With Accessories

MockingBird Stroller Compatibility

That’s important since a good stroller can cost at least a few hundred dollars. Given that and the fact that everything you have to buy for babies, toddlers, and even preschoolers is pricey and seems to be getting more expensive by the day, you want to buy a stroller that will be good for the entire time that your kids need it.

You can put the Mockingbird lay-flat bassinet in it. Your infant will rest comfortably in it and you’ll find that the stroller will do a great job of rocking your little one to sleep in just a few minutes. The Infant Seat Insert lets you store more accessories for your baby along with your baby. Another great thing about the Mockingbird Stroller 2.0 is that you can fit numerous (over 40) car seat brands in it thanks to the versatile car seat adapter.

You can also reverse the regular seat. That comes in handy when your little ones are in preschool and you want to take them for a walk in the park after school. You can also easily recline the seat for a more comfortable ride as their feet grow bigger.

You can add another seat if you use the 2nd seat kit. You can arrange the second seat in up to 22 positions to accommodate your two kids comfortably and easily. The riding board makes it easier for an older school-aged kid to tag along while you take your younger kids for a stroll.

It’s Ergonomics Are Impressive

You’ll love its smooth ride and so will your kids. That’s possible thanks to the Mockingbird’s all-wheel suspension and shock-absorbent tires. Another plus is that you’ll never need to inflate the tires - yes, the tires never go flat. You can easily lock the front wheels by pressing your foot on the one-step footbrake. That puts you in ultimate control when you are out with your little kids.

The frame is super strong. That will put your worrying parental mind at ease because your kids will always be safe in this stroller.

The Canopy Offers Extra Protection

If you’re a parent, like I am, you know that little kids get sunburned easily. Given their tendency to put their hands all over their bodies and then put their hands in their mouths, it’s not always practical to use sunscreen. The good news is that sunscreen isn’t necessary.. The canopy unzips. What’s left is an additional panel which opens into a sun visor that will shield your little ones’ bodies from the harsh Sun’s rays.

The canopy has a hidden mesh panel. So, you can take your kids out when it’s windy with no worries. The canopy is waterproof. So, you can walk your toddlers when you walk your dogs on rainy days without having to worry about the elements warping your stroller. The peekaboo window lets you sneak peeks at your kids while they’re napping so that you can revel at their content and smiling faces.

The black and white checkerboarded interior is designed to give your kids intellectual and visual stimulation early on.

You Can Store Everything But the Kitchen Sink

Mockingbird storage strollers

Kids can be picky eaters before they go to regular school. So, if your toddlers are anything like my son was as a toddler, he can have issues with eating and drinking milk. Oftentimes, I found that I would have to take him on a walk to get him to drink his milk. So, I would have to store many items to take him on an hour-long walk.

That included his sippy cup full of milk, a little cup, his jacket, wet wipes, and his bulky diaper bag. I had a stroller with a large compartment at the bottom. I checked, and the Mockingbird 2.0 has an even bigger bottom storage compartment. It can hold everything but the kitchen sink. That should put your parental minds at ease!

FAQ

Is the Mockingbird 2.0 the best and most affordable stroller on the market?

The Mockingbird 2.0 has many great features, but other strollers have a lower price point. A good example is the Graco Modes Nest Travel System with Adjustable Reversible Seat. Amazon sells it for USD 398. It features an adjustable seat, and it adjusts to adapt to a growing baby’s changing needs. It also adapts as your baby grows into a toddler and a preschooler. However, it doesn’t have all of the great features that the Mockingbird 2.0 does.

It does come with a car seat. The Mockingbird 2.0 doesn’t. As is the case with the Mockingbird 2.0, the Graco’s car seat is reversible and adjustable.

The Veer Switch & Roll Luxe Bundle costs a whopping USD 898. However, a higher price doesn’t always translate into better quality. It’s easy to wash with a hose and it’s comfortable. It’s suitable for all terrains, but it can only be used with Veer accessories.

Is there a difference between the Mockingbird single and the Mockingbird single to double stroller?

You can expand the single to double stroller into a double stroller by adding a seat. You can’t do that with the Mockingbird 2.0 single stroller.

Final Words

Yo’re in luck if the stork is coming to visit you again but you don’t have the money to buy another stroller. The Mockingbird Stroller 2.0 is the only stroller you’ll ever need, even if you have a third kid because of its versatility and many features that make it the best stroller as you expand your family. The Mockingbird 2.0 is very affordable as well and it’s compatible with accessories from different baby product manufacturers. So, you’re not in a bind if you happen to find a great deal from another manufacturer.
