As with any term used to describe a baby stroller, “lightweight” is relative. We divvy up the weight categories of the strollers in our assortment accordingly:

  • Ultra light: Less than 11 pounds
  • Very light: 11-15 pounds
  • Light: 16-20 pounds
  • Medium: 21-15 pounds
  • Med-Heavy: 26-30 pounds
  • Heavy: 31-35 pounds
  • Very heavy: 35 pounds & up

Do you need all-terrain wheels? Do you need an adjustable-height handlebar? What weight limit are you looking for? Are you going to be traveling a lot by plane?

The City Tour, which will be available in October 2016, is specialized for travel far from home: while it will do fine right in your own city, it truly shines when it’s time to fly! The ultra-compact fold, echoing the popular BabyZen YoYo+ Stroller, makes the City Tour small enough to pop into the overhead compartment, and it comes with a super-convenient backpack-style travel bag, so if need be, the stroller can ride on your back and the baby can ride on your hip. Easy-peasy!

The Baby Jogger City Mini GT, on the other hand, is a well-loved classic because it’s so great for everyday use around the city and suburbs: you’ll see it everywhere because the all-terrain wheels, front wheel suspension, huge canopy, nearly-full recline, and other great features make it simple for you to use and totally comfortable for your kid. The adjustable-height handlebar and handbrake are great perks, and the fold? It’s just too easy to believe: just pull up a strap in the seat and it claps in half. Done!
