For the legions of fans out there who love Blokus, meet the newest member of the family. Blokus Trigon is a challenging, triangular variation on the original theme.

For those who don’t already know Blokus, I’ll give a brief introduction. Blokus is a simple-yet-addictive strategy game that has enjoyed explosive popularity over the past few years. It is one of those very rare games that is so simple to learn that even young children can play, but it can also enthrall a table of adults for hours on end.

Working with triangles rather than squares should make the strategy more complex than the original, but for those who have exhausted many afternoons playing Blokus, Trigon will be a welcome way to kick it up a notch.
