Things are looking up, baby.

There’s a reason why mobiles are a staple item for most new parents. They provide babies with an excellent focal point and healthy visual stimulation. Some mobiles are designed to gently lull an infant to sleep with slow revolutions and soporific music, while others are veritable airborne amusement parks ideal for capturing enough rapt newborn attention that a tired mom can sneak a quick shower. But when it comes to visual appeal, nothing can match the grace and beauty of a Flensted mobile. When I saw these on display at a contemporary furniture fair recently, I came to a screeching halt and made a beeline for the booth. The designs are modern, but each mobile is crafted to be equally compelling, whether your perspective is horozontal or vertical.
