Sesame Street is coming to town!
Is Elmo a rock star in your house? If so, you and your kids will not want to miss out on Sesame Street Live this weekend in Boston. The show, entitled 1-2-3 Imagine features all your favorite characters from Sesame Street – Big Bird, Ernie, Bert, Cookie Monster, Grover, Abby Cadabby and — yes — Elmo too. There’s singing, there’s dancing, there’s music. There’s the great, educational content you know and love from Sesame Street.
In addition to the performance, the Boston tour also includes the new Play Zone. This is a hands-on play area outside the theater where kids can interact with some of the familiar props and set pieces from Sesame Street. They can sit in Big Bird’s nest, pop up out of Oscar’s trash can, twirl in front of a mirror in Zoe’s dance studio, and — deep breaths — visit Elmo’s world. The Play Zone opens one hour before the show starts, and access is free with the purchase of your ticket to the show.
There are seven shows this weekend at the Agganis Arena in Boston, starting tomorrow morning at 10:30am. For the complete schedule, or to purchase tickets, click here.
