Santa Claus is back for 2014, starting December 1! With no waiting time!

The photo-op with your average department-store Santa Claus is brief, but the wait is oh, so long, and your child has important toy requests to make. The result can be a little less fun than you’d hoped – but not at Magic Beans!

Along with the most authentic Santa you’ll ever meet (that’s a real beard, folks), we’ve instituted a terrific reservation system to maximize your chances of getting some smiles in those precious pictures. With our system, you shouldn’t have to wait longer than 20 minutes in line. Here’s what you need to know:

• Reserve those spots early, because they’ll fill up super fast! You should get an email in the next two or three days with the link for the Eventbrite. As soon as you get that email, sign up – don’t wait or you’ll miss it!
• As with last year, we will be charging for reservations, but you will receive your $10 reservation fee back in the form of a gift card when you arrive, so the event is still free. The fee is just there to cut down on no-shows – we have so few spots and we want to make sure they’re full of holiday joy!
• Show up at the beginning of your twenty-minute time slot, with a print-out of your reservation (or the reservation ready to show us on your smartphone). You’ll receive your gift card as soon as you come in; feel free to browse and shop while you wait for your name to be called, and if you’re in a store with a Playspace, that’s a great spot to keep the little ones busy!
• It’s your turn! Our professional photographer will snap some pictures.
• At the end of your turn, our photographer will hand you a card with instructions to find your pictures online, on their secure password-protected website. Go home, look at those pics, and share them with everyone you know – because your kids are just the cutest, aren’t they?
