No time to cook?
Mark Bittman is one of my favorite cookbook authors. His “How to Cook Everything” is my go-to kitchen bible, and I highly recommend it, especially for beginners. Bittman hangs his hat on simplicity, which is particularly helpful for busy parents who are trying to put a nice dinner on the table a few times a week.
Last week, The New York Times published a list by Bittman of 101 meals you can prepare in 10 minutes or less. Some are too sophisticated for preschool palettes, but there were also plenty of ideas that my kids would eat right up. Enjoy!
