In a Scottish sort of mood
Maclaren has rebranded with a tip of the (fur) hat to their Scottish roots. The new Maclaren logo is a plaid-inspired “M”, though we haven’t seen any plaid fabrics in the US lineup for 2007. And just to make sure everyone got the point, there was an impressive bagpiper who made frequent appearances at the Maclaren booth.
I got a better photo of the new Techno XLR, and a peek at the Lulu Guinness collection for 2007. The biggest surprise was the introduction of a new skincare line for mothers and babies called Beginnings. The presentation is lovely, but Maclaren hasn’t exactly built a reputation on skincare. I’m not sure whether we’ll see this in the US.
