Furniture forays

After three years of carrying exclusively Stokke nursery furniture, Magic Beans is branching out. After extensive research, we decided to bring in ducduc, a New York-based line of modern nursery furniture.

This was not an easy decision. We’ve been pretty well spoiled by Stokke’s ironclad quality control and quick shipping schedule. If we were going to bring in another option for nursery furniture, we wanted to choose a company that offered an exceptional level of quality, design and customer service. We liked the innovative and whimsical designs in the ducduc line, and with a brand new dedicated manufacturing facility in Connecticut, the quality should be outstanding. As for service, time will tell, but we’re very optimistic. Our first order arrived on time and in beautiful shape, delivered and assembled by ducduc employees who drove the furniture to Boston directly from the factory. Our local customers will receive the same treatment – it doesn’t get better than that. The only downside is a twelve week lead time, so plan ahead.
