Even when they’re eating?

Maybe kids shouldn’t play with their food, but this new line encourages infants and toddlers to explore and interact with their serving pieces. Always Learning is an acclaimed line of baby feeding products from the U.K. that has finally made it’s way to our side of the ocean. Each product is designed to engage little eaters through inventive use of color, texture and sound. Every piece is bright and colorful, and there are clever design elements that may actually provide unobtrusive teaching moments during mealtime. Our favorite is the “Here Comes Dinner” weaning spoon (pictured), with a removable train or airplane that is sure to make “vrooming” food into your kid’s mouth more entertaining for both of you. It’s a wacky concept, but the quality is there, and if this will keep the kids at the table for a couple of extra minutes, we’ll bite.
