Dyson @ Stroller Cleaning Night #1
We know that strollers get dirty, especially over the winter. The chaos that inevitably comes with expanding a family combined with the unpredictable New England weather ensures that the pristine stroller our customers walk out with will not be sparkly by spring.
So last night, we kicked off our first in a series of stroller cleaning nights in our Brookline store. We got together some really amazing staff and some cleaning supplies to do the job. But the thing that really made the cleaning a success was the amazing Dyson Vacuum (specifically the DC 26 Dyson City) that they graciously sent to us to help us get all the grit out of those seats and luggage baskets.
Not only does the Dyson look really neat, but it is super powerful. We were especially excited to try it out on strollers, because it has cyclone technology that can suck up even the most microscopic dust. Also, it’s equipped with a special filter that traps microscopic allergens – perfect for cleaning something that is so close to our kids.
Every time I picked up the Dyson DC 23 Turbinehead Vacuum, I discovered a new function. There are three extension sizes, a retractable power cord, and an easy to clean filter basket – no bags allowed! All of the extensions and add-ons that came with it have special nooks on the vacuum’s body for storage – we’ll never lose one of the brushes or nozzles. It was also easy to maneuver, which is important with stroller cleaning because there are a lot of tiny spaces for Cheerios to hide in.
All in all, the Dyson vacuum was the perfect tool for stroller cleaning, making the process smooth, quick, and efficient. Be on the look out for future stroller cleaning nights!
