Day 31 – Svan High Chair (and 5 others)

July has flown by, in spite of 31 late nights. Your comments every day have been far more energizing than any caffeinated beverage. It’s hard to believe today’s our last day, but it’s a good one. Our relationship with Svan goes way back, all the way to the beginning of both Magic Beans and Scandinavian Child, the US distributor for Svan. It was March of 2004, and the architect designing our new store brought me a page torn out of a design magazine with a picture of a Svan chair. She was a mom, and she thought it was an incredibly cool high chair. I wholeheartedly agreed, and Brenda Berg was the first vendor I ever called. I remember vividly standing in my kitchen talking to her on the phone, and she was very likely doing the same thing. Both of our companies were just getting off the ground back then. Five years later, Brenda and I still enjoy the opportunity to sit down and talk, though we’re both usually at a desk or on our cell phones these days.

The Svan is a simple, elegant high chair that is small enough to fit in tight spaces. It is, as our architect suspected, an incredibly cool high chair. Enter to win.
