Day 2 – Curse of the Mommy?

I’m finding this show to be small but spirited. There are lots of interesting products and people, and the manageable size makes it easy to stop and get into conversations without feeling rushed.

Unfortunately, it was a bad day for my cellphone. First, I left it in the JJ Cole booth after I decided to test out their new Logic bag by stuffing it with a bunch of essentials from my purse. There was a handy cellphone pocket, but I forgot to retrieve my phone from it. The nice folks at JJ Cole finally got tired of listening to it ring off the hook; they called my husband at home, and my phone and I were reunited at the end of the day.

Then, we went to the industry party at Universal Studios in Orlando. This party is the highlight of the JPMA show, and I’m sad that this was the last one. Basically, JPMA takes over a portion of the park, and a selection of rides are open just to our group. And since it’s a pretty small group, there are no lines. There’s also a DJ, food, drinks and a reasonably festive atmosphere. It’s always a fun evening. Tonight, we rode Revenge of the Mummy three times, and somewhere along the way, my cellphone vanished. I’m not too optimistic that it will find its way back to me this time, sadly.

But all that is just an aside. There were more good finds today. Once again, I will recap as best I can until I am completely incoherent.
