When we found these Towtab Towel Tablets at the Boston Gift Show, we were enthralled. These little “pills” expand when wet to become an 8″ x 11″ towel. Even though this is not specifically a juvenile item, we thought it held a lot of promise for parents. Imagine if, instead of toting around wipes, you just keep a roll of these towel tablets in your diaper bag? Especially for parents of older toddlers and preschoolers, it’s a viable space-saver. Assuming you have some source of water, you can always have a wipe at your disposal. Also, for restaurants and ice cream stops, these are must-have. Not to be overlooked: these are also very entertaining.

We just received the towel tablets at the store. They come 10 to a roll for $2.50.
