Boon offers a sneak peek

We’re still just about 10 days away from the ABC show, but the Boon website is already showing off a panoply of new products. There’s a whole new layette line, a range of feeding accessories and… jewelry?
I’m in love with the beautiful sterling silver bracelet designs – modern, whimsical and alternately geometric or undulating pieces that are perfectly sized for chubby little wrists. This could be the next big trend, but the voice of reason could prevail — toddler + sterling silver accessory = many hours playing hide and go seek. For the bracelet, that is.

The layette pieces are lovely and offer some clever innovations – like a drool patch – I can’t wait to see that in person.

But the true genius lies in the feeding line, an array of dishes, utensils and accessories that are easy on the eyes and downright practical, too. All of these are fabulous, but my favorite is the Squirt, a spoon that dispenses baby food from a squeezable bulb directly onto the spoon and into the baby’s mouth. It is completely brilliant.
