Best Strollers of 2020 | New Strollers in 2020 ( Stroller Ratings | Reviews )
New year, new lineup of favorite strollers! Over here at the Magic Beans offices, we’ve been searching far and wide for the best strollers of 2020. After a lot (like seriously, a LOT) of test drives and research, we’ve finally narrowed down our list of favorites. Here’s the best of the best, nine stand-out strollers that your family will love. Drum roll, please…it’s time for the best strollers of 2020!
NUNA TRIV
Let’s start off the best strollers of 2020 list with something special!
Though the Nuna TRIV is relatively new, its no-nonsense design has already made a big splash. The Nuna TRIV is, essentially, built like any other Nuna stroller. It features standard (but no less special!) elements like reversible seating, an adjustable handlebar, an extendable canopy, and an easy fold with stand-alone capabilities. And that’s all great! However, it’s the Nuna TRIV’s car seat adapter that really helps it stand out from the pack. The TRIV’s car seat adapter is a detachable ring adapter, which grants the TRIV the ability to accommodate the ever-popular Nuna PIPA. Rather than having to attach and detach the ring adapter whenever you fold the stroller, however, the Nuna TRIV’s no-fuss ring adapter is able to fold down with the stroller; there’s no need to remove it before folding! What a time saver.
Pair this amazing design element with a cozy Merino Wool seat insert, an air-flow friendly summer seat, and rubberized wheels that make the TRIV a breeze to push, it’s no wonder that this lightweight stroller has already become such a favorite.
2020 UPPABABY VISTA V2
Talk about an upgrade!
The UPPAbaby Vista V2 has all of the best elements of the 2019 UPPAbaby Vista (reversible seating, an extendable canopy with mesh ventilation windows, an easy fold with stand-alone capabilities), plus a few new ones that really take the cake. For instance, let’s take a look at the included new-and-improved Vista V2 bassinet. The Vista V2’s bassinet is safe for overnight sleep, and is crafted with extra plush quilting for a more comfortable and stylish snooze. Plus, the bassinet has a new air ventilation window located at the bottom of the sleep surface for better temperature management. Another update to the Vista V2 is it’s spring-loaded folding latch, which makes it easier and faster to unfold the stroller after it’s been in storage. Finally, the Vista V2 also underwent a total suspension makeover, resulting in a far smoother ride.
All of this in just one single-to-double stroller! Truly amazing. Whether you’re using the 2020 UPPAbaby Vista V2 as a single stroller or a stacked double stroller (the lower rumble seat of the V2 has an upper weight limit of 35 lbs and an updated canopy that features an extendable canopy with air mesh ventilation windows, just FYI), the 2020 UPPAbay Vista V2 is set to impress.
THULE SPRING
Spring into action with the Thule Spring! Appropriate for strolling with children who are six months or older, the Thule Spring is very similar to Baby Jogger’s City Mini 2 (similarities include a compact size, an easy fold, and a three-wheel frame). The Thule Spring stands out, however, due to its unique ability to accommodate both Maxi Cosi and Chicco car seats with the addition of seat adapters. This adaptability, along with plenty of air flow-friendly mesh on the stroller seat, an extendable canopy with a UV-protecting sun visor, and snooze-approved reclining seating abilities, all make the Thule Spring a truly one-of-a-kind stroller.
Still not convinced that the Thule Spring is all that and a bag of chips? Here’s the knockout punch: the Thule Spring’s compact, stand-alone fold is extra condensed thanks to its inward-folding wheels. Tiny car trunks, here we come!
BOB ALTERRAIN/BOB ALTERRAIN PRO
What’s better than one stroller? Two strollers! That’s right, BOB’s Alterrain strollers come in two distinct styles: the BOB Alterrain and the BOB Alterrain Pro. Both three-wheeled strollers, the BOB Alterrain and the BOB Alterrain Pro each feature top-of-the-line shock absorption wheels, an ultra-comfortable compression molding seat, and an easy, stand-alone capable fold. “If both of these strollers have the same great features,” you may be wondering, “then how do they differ?”
Glad you asked!
Simply put, the Alterrain Pro is more equipped for diverse terrains than the standard Alterrain. The Pro comes equipped with an easy-to-use handbrake, a ventilated canopy for summer strolling, magnetic canopy closures for a more secure hold, reflectors for road strolling, and an enclosed basket that ensures maximum security for your belongings. Plus, the Pro is waterproof, while the original Alterrain is just water resistant. Which of the Alterrains better fits your lifestyle?

2020 NUNA MIXX NEXT
Update alert! The 2020 Nuna MIXX Next is rolling into the new year with a more compact fold. That’s right, Nuna shaved eight inches off the folded size of the Nuna MIXX, making it ridiculously easy to store. And that’s not the only upgrade that MIXX Next has up its sleeve.
