Congratulations! You’ve got a baby on the way and your life is about to change in some very cool ways… and some stressful ones, too. There’s a lot to do before baby arrives, and a lot to BUY.

That’s where we come in! Our mission is to make sure you have absolutely everything you need to care for your baby, that you love everything you buy, and that your shopping experience is easy, relaxing, and fun. That’s why we offer amenities like our upcoming brunch: to take the stress out of this key part of your pre-parenting journey.

We’ll be hosting this sumptuous meal and informational session in the posh, perfectly manicured environs of the Country Club of Darien, in their gorgeous ballroom (it’s a hot wedding venue!). Along with classic brunch standards like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, fruit salad, and delicious Scottish smoked salmon, you can nibble on delicious finger sandwiches, nosh on salads and ravioli, and sip from a selection of coffee and tea (of course, there will be decaf for Mom).

And then there are the presentations:

• Eli Gurock, co-founder of Magic Beans and (unofficial) king of the Stroller Geeks, will give you an introduction to the world of baby gear, and the inside scoop on how to find the stroller, car seat, nursery furniture, and other products that are the perfect fit for your lifestyle. Because good product reviews can only tell you so much – every family’s needs are unique!
• Obstetrician Mark de Fazio, MD will be presenting on behalf of CBR explaining why umbilical cord blood and cord tissue banking are such an important investment in your child’s future health.
• Lactation nurse Lorna Aliperti, APRN, IBCLC will introduce you to the basics of breastfeeding.
