Aging gracefully
This is the kind of “aha” product that makes you wish you’d thought of it first. How often do you find a half-full jar of baby food in the fridge and wonder how long it’s been sitting there. Instead of shaking, stirring, sniffing and reluctantly tasting the peas, now you can just refer to the handy little magnetized gizmo stuck to the lid of the jar. The Digital Day Counter from Days Ago is pure genius. Just stick it, set it and forget it. The clever little timer diligently counts the hours and days, so you don’t need to remember (or guess) whether your food is past its prime.
There are two varieties, magnetic and suction cup. And while these are great for baby-related fridge items, like baby food and breastmilk, they are also more broadly useful for sleep-deprived, slightly forgetful parents to keep track of leftovers or a litany of other things. See their website for a list of suggestions.
