A devilishly good diaper bag
When Dante Pauwels first offered to send me a sample of her Dante Beatrix diaper bags, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We already had a lot of diaper bags in the store, and I didn’t think we needed any more. But when the sample arrived, I desperately wanted to keep it. It was so chic and beautiful, filled with thoughtful and clever design elements, and it was roomy without ever seeming bulky. I loved it.
I didn’t get to keep it, sadly. My husband put his foot down. But I do get to visit it on the shelves of the store. We are carrying two models, the Baby Beatrix Tote and the Baby Beatrix Messenger. The tote is bigger than the messenger and features an absolutely ingenious strap design that allows the bag to be converted effortlesly from a handbag to a shoulder bag. The messenger has plenty of room, but feels more petite. Both bags are made from ballistic nylon which is a nice choice – it’s durable and easy to clean. The changing pad is excellent, and both bags come with a little pouch for soiled clothes. Closures and finishes are high end; these bags are built to last.
