A BOB I’d like to meet.

BOB in PinkThe new 2007 BOB Revolution strollers have been very popular. We’re having a hard time keeping up with demand. The most significant new feature is an extra 25 degrees of recline, which is a nice improvement. The stroller is recommended for 8 weeks and up, though it can be used with a newborn in conjunction with the optional infant car seat adaptor. Remember that it’s not advised to run with a baby until s/he is 8 months old, or has been cleared by a pediatrician.

The colors have remained basically unchanged – there’s still Navy and Orange, but they also added a contemporary Chocolate/Pink version that is really nice. For 2007, BOB has created a version of the Revolution that has 12″ rear wheels (instead of 16″), the Revolution 12″ AW, but I’m on the fence about whether or not we’ll carry it. The great advantage to the Revolution is that it multitasks as both an all-terrain stroller and a running stroller. The 12″ version isn’t well-suited to running, since the smaller wheels build up more friction and resistance, making it harder to push and control. But this is just my suspicion. I’m hoping to have a chance to test this out for myself in the coming weeks.

Check out the BOB website for more information – they’ve got some very nice new features.
